Al-Safiir: A Historical Overview of Its Influence on Arab Journalism
Abstract
This paper provides a comprehensive historical overview of "Al-Safiir," one of the most significant newspapers in the Arab world, tracing its influence on the evolution of Arab journalism from its inception in 1952 to the present day. Founded in Lebanon, "Al-Safiir" emerged as a prominent voice amidst the complex socio-political landscape of the region. Its editorial stance, characterized by a commitment to progressive values, social justice, and critical reporting, positioned it as a leading platform for diverse opinions and a catalyst for public discourse.
